Bidenko: UkraineNOW "New Opportunities and Freedom to Use"
The values of UkraineNOW include energy, new opportunities, variance, and freedom to use, said Artem Bidenko, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine at the III All-Ukrainian Forum of Government Communications Experts #onevoice.
Mr Bidenko stressed that the UkraineNOW brand is not a mere logo but a thorough single concept. “This concept includes opportunities NOW, explains what are people NOW, what is business NOW, and what direct relation [it has] with the economy,” he added.
The State Secretary went on to say that UkraineNOW is an open brand to be used by anyone wishing to do so, and entrepreneurs can now be seen using the brand in their advertising.
Volodymyr Nechyporuk, founder and general producer of Ukrainian Fashion Week, the creation of the brand is a necessary and important part of developing the country. Therefore, he added, creative industries and business and citizens should in general actively use the UkraineNOW brand.
Danylo Bilak, Director of UkraineInvest, Ukraine’s investment promotion office, stressed that the key purpose of creating the brand is encouraging investment allocation. Regions need investing, but this requires devising strategies of a comfortable city or town. He added that Vinnytsia serves as a successful example in Ukraine.
“Each region should have its own brand via UkraineNOW. It is a call for something bigger; it is a call for each and every Ukrainian on what useful can be done for their home and their country,” Mr Bilak stressed.
The III All-Ukrainian Forum of Government Communications Experts #onevoice was held on May 17-18th. It was related to the approaching 3rd anniversary of #onevoice, a government communications platform operating under government decree No. 985-p; to improving communications; to enhancing society’s awareness of the work of the executive and of the implemented reforms; to highlighting the current issues of state policy in various areas.
The UkraineNOW brand was approved by the Government of Ukraine on 10 May 2018. It was designed by Ukraine-based Banda Agency within the framework of the Commission for Promotion of Ukraine in the World under the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.
