MIP’s Educational Projects: Meetings with Students of Poltava Universities Held
On 9-11 April 2019, students of Poltava universities met with Volodymyr Zhemchuhov, Adviser to the Minister of Information Policy and Hero of Ukraine, and Dmytro Zolotukhin, the Deputy Minister.
The meetings were held within the framework of the educational project “Prisoners of the Kremlin”, aimed at national and patriotic education of young people.
On April 9th, Mr Zhemchuhov and Mr Zolotukhin spoke at a press conference at Poltava Law Institute of Yaroslav Mydryi National Law University, and met and talked with its students.
On April 10th, they met with students of Poltava State Agrarian Academy. On April 11th, the Hero of Ukraine spoke to students of Poltava National Pedagogical University.
“I hope that you do not keep aloof from what is happening in Ukraine. You are not only the future but also the today of our country. Contemplate, analyse, decide!” Mr Zhemchuhov said to the students.
“Prisoners of the Kremlin”, a film produced by UA/TV international broadcasting channel by the order of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, was presented to the students.
Mr Zolotukhin presented the Ministry’s project, “White Paper on Special Information Operations against Ukraine 2014-2018.” He noted that the book was the result of years-long monitoring of how Russian security services and political elites manipulate the information space all over the world.
At the end of the meetings, the participants were given information materials produced with the Ministry’s support.
