MIP's Educational Projects: Zhemchuhov Meets with Students of Ukrainian Physics and Mathematics Lyceum
On 9 October 2018, a meeting was held between Volodymyr Zhemchuhov, Adviser to the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine and Hero of Ukraine, and students of the Ukrainian Physics and Mathematics Lyceum of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The event was held within the framework of an educational project “Prisoners of the Kremlin”, initiated by MIP, which pursues national patriotic education of the youth.
The meeting was held in “open microphone” format, with each of nearly 200 students joining the discussion.
“You, who live and study here in Kyiv, may think that war is far away, that it has no bearing on your lives. But, sadly, we have an aggressor State close to us, which will go to great lengths to satiate its imperial appetites. This war concerns all of us, and each and every one of us must do what they can for the sake of our joint victory,” Mr Zhemchuhov said to the students.
At the event, the film “The Kremlin’s Prisoners”, produced by UA|TV international broadcasting channel by MIP’s order, was shown to the students. Towards the end of the meeting, the students were given information materials, including discs with an unabridged copy of the film, published with MIP’s support.
Earlier, on 3 October, Volodymyr Zhemchuhov met with cadets of the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
