MIP: Tvoia Kraina Fest, Ukrainian Music Festival, Takes Place in Izmail
On 11 August 2018, Tvoia Kraina Fest, a Ukrainian music festival organized with the support of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, took place at Peoples’ Friendship Alley in Izmail, Odesa Region.
The residents of the town, located on the Ukraine-Romania border, could listen live Ukrainian songs performed by Foma and the Mandry band, Tartak, Mariia Burmaka, Gypsy Lyre, and Ivanka Chervinska.
Also, visitors to the festival could attend souvenir shops, food courts, kiddie rides, and other amusements.
The next Tvoia Kraina Fest concert takes place in Henichesk (Kherson Region, administrative border with occupied Crimea) on 18 August; on 24 August, Mariupol (Donetsk Region, the JFO zone); on 8 September, Konotop (Sumy Region, bordering Russia); on 15 September, Mukacheve (Zakarpattia Region, bordering Hungary); on 22 September, Novoselyshche (Chernivtsi Region, bordering Romania and Moldova); on 29 September, Sarny (Rivne Region, bordering Belarus).
On 30 July 2018, the music festival Tvoia Kraina Fest was presented. The festival will be held with the support of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine in seven Ukrainian cities in August-September, featuring famous Ukrainian singers and bands – Foma and the Mandry band, Tartak, Antytila, Mariia Burmaka, Gypsy Lyre, Ivanka Chervinska, and GrozovSka Band. The participants of the festival will vary in each town depending on the artists’ engagement.
