On 23 June 2019, the II Ukrainian Music Festival “Tvoia Kraina Fest”, supported by the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, was held in Mukachevo, the Zakarpattia region.

Foma, the bands “Mandry”, “Druha Rika”, “Vasya Club”, and Ivanka Chervinska performed live in the town’s Victory Park.

“Our main goal is to unite people in this country through Ukrainian music[, s]o that each and every one of them feels that Ukraine is their country and that it is beautiful,” says Serhii Fomenko, frontman of the band “Mandry”.

On 25 June, the festival is set to take place in Shostka, the Sumy region; on 28 June, in Berdiansk, the Zaporizhzhia region; on 1 July, in Skadovsk, the Kherson region; on 4 July, in Chornomorsk, the Odesa region.

It is the second year that “Tvoia Kraina Fest” has been organised with the support of the Ministry of Information Policy.

The key idea of the festival is to promote the Ukrainian language through quality modern music in towns which popular Ukrainian artists often miss out in their tours.

Earlier, on 15 June 2019, the festival took place in Korosten, the Zhytomyr region; on 19 June, in Chernihiv.
