As Part of MIP's Educational Projects, Meetings with Students of Mariupol Universities Held
On 12-14 March 2019, Volodymyr Zhemchuhov, Adviser to the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine and Hero of Ukraine, met with students of Mariupol universities.
The meetings were held within the framework of the educational project “Prisoners of the Kremlin”, aimed at national and patriotic education of young people.
On March 12th, Volodymyr Zhemchuhov and Viktor Lytvinov, Head of the Sector for Information Reintegration of Crimea and Donbas, spoke at a press conference at Donetsk State University of Management, and talked to the students.
On March 13th, Mr Zhemchuhov met with cadets of Azov Maritime Institute of Odesa Maritime Academy and with students of Mariupol State University.
And, on March 14th, the meeting took place at Pryazovskyi State Technical University.
“I am truly glad that you do care about the fate of our country. You must take pride in who you are, your homeland, and your ancestry. It is only for you to decide how to live here. I want you to be proud of being, first and foremost, personalities, and no one shall ever deprive you of this,” Mr Zhemchuhov said to the students.
“Prisoners of the Kremlin”, a film produced by UA/TV international broadcasting channel by the order of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, was presented to the students. At the end of the meeting, they were given information materials produced with the Ministry’s support.
In the course of the meeting, Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Dmytro Zolotukhin presented the students with the Ministry’s project, “White Paper of Special Information Operations against Ukraine 2014-2018.”
