On March 12-14, Zhemchuhov Meets with Students of Mariupol Universities
On 12-14 March 2019, Volodymyr Zhemchuhov, Adviser to the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine and Hero of Ukraine, meets with students of Mariupol universities.
On March 12th, the meeting is held at Donetsk State University of Management in Room 204 at 2:30pm (7 Aerodromna St). A press conference for local news media is scheduled before the meeting, at 1:00pm (Room 104).
On March 13th, Mr Zhemchuhov meets with cadets of Azov Maritime Institute of Odesa Maritime Academy at the Sea Club at 11:30am (19 Chornomorska St) and with students of Mariupol State University at Building 1, Room 210, at 2:30pm (129A Budivelnykiv St).
And, on March 14th, the meeting takes place at Pryazovskyi State Technical University, Building 5, Bloc A1, at noon (7 Universytetska St).
The meetings will be in “open microphone” format, with anyone wishing to do so able to ask their questions and take part in discussions. Also, “Prisoners of the Kremlin”, a film produced by the order of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, will be presented.
At the end of the meeting, the participants will be given discs with the film and other information materials.
Volodymyr Zhemchuhov has supported resistance to Russian aggression. Since May 2014, he has been organising and actively participating in the resistance movement against Russian occupation. From 29 September 2015 through 17 September 2016, he was held captive by militants of the so-called “LNR”, having blown himself up on a trap wire and been seriously injured. Mr Zhemchuhov has also taken an active part in state and volunteer initiatives in Ukraine and abroad, including military and patriotic lectures and discussions with pupils, cadets, and servicepeople.
