MIP Presents Results of Procurement Procedure Analysis Relating to Murals at Osokorky Metro Station
On 12 February 2019, a press conference on the results of the procurement procedure analysis relating to the murals at Osokorky metro station took place at the press centre of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
According to the State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, Artem Bidenko, the analysis was ordered by Minister Yuriy Stets given wide public attention to the projects.
The audit confirmed that the procurement procedure regarding the murals at Osokorky metro station was credible.
The negotiations process and the contract between the Centre for Protection of Information Space of Ukraine and Denys Smacheliuk, the project’s executor, were conducted in compliance with current law.

Earlier, on 19 December 2018, “MoreThanUs”, an art project of the National Unity, created by the order of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, was presented at Osokorky subway station.
The project is a unique and integral picture consisting of eight murals on the walls of Osokorky subway station. World-known artists Matew Down (Belgium), Apollo Tores (Brazil), Kraser (Spain), Jasm One (Switzerland), Mata Ruda (Costa Rica), Alexander Britcev (Ukraine), Spear (Belgium), and BkFoxx (US) worked on the project for four months.
