MIP: "Ukrainian Cinema Days" Held in Kyiv, Sumy Regions
“Ukrainian Cinema Days”, a festival organised by Molodist KIFF with the support of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, was held in three other Ukrainian towns.
On 19-23 November 2018, film sessions took place in Bohuslav, Kyiv Region; on 24-26 November, in Hlukhiv, Sumy Region; and on 27 November – 1 December, in Romny, Sumy Region.
The visitors were treated to such film as “Cyborgs” (directed by Akhtem Seitablaiev, 2017), “The Stolen Princess: Ruslan and Ludmila” (directed by Oleh Malamuzh, 2018), “Their Prayer” (directed by Akhtem Seitablaiev, 2017), “Djakuyu” (directed by Dzen Yevstyhneikin, 2018), and other contemporary Ukrainian films.
All sessions were free, and the organisers brought the necessary equipment, including the screen, the projection device, and the sound system.
On 3-7 December, “Ukrainian Cinema Days” will take place in Balakliia, Kharkiv Region.
Earlier, the festival has been pulled off in Kakhovka, Kherson Region; Berehove, Zakarpattia Region; Storozhynets, Chernivtsi Region; Chornomorsk, Odesa Region; and Voznesensk, Mykolaiv Region.
