Bidenko: "Openness" Is Key Component of Ukraine NOW Brand
On 11 October 2018, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, Artem Bidenko, awarded the winners of 2 Hours Design Battle for designing a promo page for Ukraine NOW brand within the framework of #onevoice.
He stressed that the key component of Ukraine NOW brand was its openness and the possibility of being used anywhere and by anyone.
“Ukrainian folks, who work in various areas, are Ukraine’s promoters via Ukraine NOW brand, which they effectively further. And this is our greatest asset by now. Indeed, a design battle for the best application of branding is just a case in point -- that is what the idea of Ukraine NOW is about,” Mr Bidenko was quoted as saying.
Olha Shevchenko, creative director at Vintage design studio, said she wanted to make Ukraine a country of design. She announced a website about Ukraine’s single brand was being developed.
“Ukraine NOW affirms that changes are really happening in Ukraine. Of particular importance it is for the youth, that is seeing that the Government supports innovations and initiatives.”
Roksolana Stadnyk, Head of the Information and Public Communication Department of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, recalled that Ukraine NOW brand had been given Red Dot Design Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the field of design, in the Corporate Identity nomination.
Ukraine NOW brand was developed within the framework of the Commission for Promotion of Ukraine in the World, assisted by UK Government experts and designed by Ukraine-based Banda Agency.
