Broadcasting of Ukrainian TV Channels Launched on Renovated Tower at Karachun Hill
As part of the Commission on ensuring stable operation of national television and radio broadcasting chaired by the Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Tetiana Popova, a project of renovation of the tower at Karachun hill has been developed and implemented.
Currently, there is a temporary tower built and today the broadcasting of Ukrainian TV channels has been launched.
The project implemented was led by Adviser to the Minister on ensuring broadcasting Oleksandr Bryhynets.
Thus, the Advisor to the Minister together with the BRT Concern representatives installed transmitters making it possible to significantly improve signal coverage by Ukrainian television channels for Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.
"The guys from Karachun have just called their relatives living in the nearby villages and they certified that after launching the renovated tower the quality of signal has increased significantly in some areas and even appeared where no signal earlier existed", Mr. Bryhynets noted.
In addition, as part of the broadcasting restoration program on the occupied territories and those adjacent to Luhansk region, the Commission decided to grant temporary permission to expand the TV listings of Espresso TV channel.
As a reminder, during one of the meetings of Commission on ensuring stable operation of national television and radio broadcasting the Advisor to Minister Oleksandr Bryhynets was commissioned to expand the monitoring of the media in Luhansk and Donetsk regions, as well as determine the points for placing antennamitters for their most efficient use.
