Dzhaparova Meets Young Researchers from Crimean Tatar Humanities Section of Minor Academy of Sciences
On 20 April 2018, Crimean Tatar people’s public opinion leaders met with young members of the Academy of Minor Sciences of Ukraine at Ukrinform’s ArtHub. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.
Emine Dzhaparova , the First Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine, Ilmi Umerov, the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, and Esma Adzhyieva, the Adviser to the Minister of Culture, talked informally with the students and wished them luck with the presentation of their researches to be held on April 22nd.
“This year, our young researchers will be presenting their findings on the topical issues of Crimean Tatar history and culture within a dedicated section for the first time. And this is very important in terms of engaging schoolers in the Crimean problem. We really hope that students’ researches will be followed up on, whatever the results of the competition,” the First Deputy Minister of Information Policy noted.
Earlier, in December 2017, NGO Aliem and the Minor Academy of Sciences agreed on the establishment of the Crimean Tatar Humanities section. Within the framework of the section, students who moved from Crimea can present their research on cultural studies, the arts, history, and language.
