MIP in ATO Zone: In Novoukrainka Village Council, T2 Ukrainian Digital Television Works Stably
The Monitoring Mission of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine has analyzed television and radio broadcasting in Novoukrainka Village Council of Marinka District, Luhansk Region.
“In Novoukrainka Village Council, only T2 digital television works well. Terrestrial broadcasting works unstably,” reports Oleksandr Bryhytens, the Adviser to the Minister on Broadcasting Renewal in the ATO Zone and Ukraine’s MP, who heads the Monitoring Mission.
Tetiana Malyk, the secretary of the Novoukrainka Village Council, said that the village Novoukrainka is special, as internally displaced people from Poltava Region live there. “The school in the village is Ukrainian, and everyone speaks Ukrainian. The mood here is optimistic and pro-Ukrainian,” Malyk said.
It should be noted that during two years of the work of the Commission on Ensuring the Stable Broadcasting of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting System of Ukraine, three television towers have been constructed: in Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast (5 December 2016), in Chonhar, Kherson Oblast (17 March 2017), and in Bakhmutivka, Luhansk Oblast (22 August 2017).
