In New York, MIP Presents Photographs from the Frontline
On 18 November 2017, the photo exhibition “.RAW Ukraine on the Frontline” was presented with the support of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine at the Ukrainian Museum in New York City.
“.RAW Ukraine on the Frontline” is dedicated to the documentary pictorial review of the military operation in Eastern Ukraine since 2014, showing the transformation of the Ukrainian Army and society through recollections of witnesses and direct participants.
Opening the event, MIP’s State Secretary Artem Bidenko noted that the key audience of the event was Ukrainians living abroad.
“We appeal to each of them: If you bring a friend or two of yours who are not Ukrainian, and show them what is Ukraine and what is happening in Ukraine, we will achieve our result,” said Bidenko.
In the meantime, he added, the presentation is designed not only for art lovers but also for politicians, journalists and active community members.
Alina Frolova, Adviser to the Ministry on Strategic Communications, added that the photo exhibition was already presented in Paris two weeks before, and had earlier been held in Berlin.
The exhibition in New York is to last till December 30.
