Yurii Stets Participates in the National Expert Forum
The 5th National Expert Forum "Ukraine. Stress Test" organized by Gorshenin Institute was held in Kyiv.
Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets, together with the head of Security Service of Ukraine Valentyn Nalyvaichenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, member of European Parliament, member of the EU Committee on Foreign Affairs Petras Auštrevičius, and expert of the Institute for European Prospective and Security Christine Dugoin-Clément, took part in panel discussion "The First Ukrainian War: One Year under New Conditions".
During his speech, Yurii Stets described the activities undertaken by the Ministry towards the development of mechanisms to protect information space of Ukraine: "The Ministry plans to work out an "Information Constitution" of Ukraine, based on which the country will live for decades. The development of fundamental documents has been entrusted to the Expert Council under the MIP composed of the leading media experts, academics, representatives of the Institute for Strategic Studies, and people's deputies of Ukraine", the Minister stressed. The Minister noted during the panel that the Expert Council had included the development of three documents into the agenda, namely the Strategy for Information Policy, the Concept of Information Security, and the State Programme on promotion of Ukraine's information space". Today Ukraine is filled with patriotism and love for the nation. This is the most important thing. That is what is going to be the beginning of the New Great Ukraine. The country we have to defend on all fronts, the military, the economic, and the information one", Yurii Stets summarized.
