MIP: Communication campaign "Crimea is Ukraine. 1096 days of resistance to the Russian occupation" presented

23 February, a presentation of the communication campaign "Crimea is Ukraine. 1096 days of resistance to the Russian occupation" was held at the news agency "Ukrinform".

Emine Dzhaparova, the First Deputy Minister of information policy of Ukraine presented the campaign, developed under the Information reintegration Strategy of Crimea: "This communication campaign is the culmination of six months' work of a big team. Within its framework, we raise the question of the resistance, repression, kidnapping, just to remind that the resistance in Crimea continues. When we talk about the third anniversary of the occupation, we're talking about the third year of resistance - 1096 days, during which Crimeans have not obeyed the Russian reality", said Emine Dzhaparova. She also said that placing of boards and city lights to mark the Day of Crimean resistance to the Russian occupation have already started. Nearly 200 of which will be located in Kyiv, and 100 in the regions.

Anatoliy Solovey, the head of Public Diplomacy Department the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine spoke about the international vector of the campaign: "The subject matter of de-occupation of Crimea is one of the first priorities of the Ukrainian public and cultural diplomacy. Embassies of Ukraine in foreign states will actively use visual content, developed by MIP in the framework of this campaign, in order to provide a permanent presence of the Crimean theme in the foreign information space. It is important not to stop and to continue to develop the theme of de-occupation of the Crimea", - said Anatoliy Solovey.

Eskender Bariev, a member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people noted the importance of the communication campaign: "I feel pain for the annexed Crimea as a Crimean Tatar, as a Mejlis representative, as a person who can not return home. But time heals, the pain from the loss of the Crimea subsidies. This communication campaign is a medication from oblivion to the fact that the problem of the Crimea exists", - said Eskender Bariev. He also urged everyone to join the Unity Marsh on 26 February at 14:00 that will start on the alley of Heroes Heavenly Hundreds.

During the event, billboard maquettes on the Day of Crimean resistance to the Russian occupation (26 February), videos "Repression" and "Occupation of the Crimea through the eyes of foreign students" were presented. People's diplomats of the network "Global Ukrainians" will conduct flash mobs abroad with the campaign content.
