MIP statement regarding work of media representatives in ATO zone and the injured British photojournalist in Avdiivka
The Ministry of information policy of Ukraine expresses its gratitude to all the journalists who are now in Avdiivka, risking their lives and performing their professional duties, conveying the truth to the world about the shelling of civilians and ceasefire violations on the part of the aggressor state in the eastern Ukraine.
Paying attention of journalists working in ATO zone that for their own safety they should keep in touch with the ATO press center: to file in due time the routes, places, geographical location, and use personal protection equipment while working.

As for the injured British photographer Christopher Nunn on 2 February during a shelling in Avdiivka, who has been operated in regional clinical ophthalmologic hospital in the city of Dnipro, we note that MIP keeps in touch with the British Embassy and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The Minister of information policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets: "I talked to the acting Minister of Health of Ukraine Ulyana Suprun and other representatives of this Ministry, who, in hourly mode, informing me about Christopher Nunn's state of health. I'm convinced that the doctors do their best to provide him with proper medical care. I'm going to keep personal control of this issue. I have informed representatives of the British Embassy, that we are ready to provide organizational and other assistance to the journalist's family and friends, who are staying on the territory of Ukraine".
