Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine

ТОП 5

9 February 2016, a presentation of information project "Top 5 News about Crimea", initiated by the Ministry of information policy of Ukraine, was held in the Ministry of foreign affairs of Ukraine.

There is a request for news of Crimea in Ukraine and the world. "Top 5 News about Crimea" is a weekly digest of the most important events from the occupied peninsula in several languages. Our reader is a politician or official, who by its decisions influences the presence of the Crimea in Ukrainian or international socio political discourse, as well as experts, journalists and human rights activists.

Today, it is important to provide information about Crimea from media that directly come from the peninsula; which know the peculiarities of the region in terms of political, economic and ethnic specifics. This is also important because of the lack of freedom of expression in the occupied Crimea, where there is a ban on the profession of journalist. Information from the Crimea, provided by Russian journalists, is distorted.
